The extraordinary music of the period reveals the emotions behind the conflict.
A one-hour musical about the journey of immigrants through Ellis Island. Appropriate for school ages 6 – 12 and the entire family. A wonderful supplement to the school curriculum, Ellis Island artfully tells the story of how our ancestors began to call America their home.
The narrator actually assumes seven characters during the course of the play, some antagonistic and others just supply exposition. I had to do plenty of accent work for each character including: Russian, British Manchester Cockney, British RP, Brooklyn and Old Timey Trans-Atlantic.
A one-hour musical based on Charles Dicken’s classic A Christmas Carol. The show was adapted for the stage by Cash Tilton and original songs were written by Susan Mondzak. Although abridged, this production stays true to Dicken’s original story.
This is a demanding role with lots of movement, singing and facial hair. I’ve played Scrooge for Sundog five times. Each time, I need less and less grey hair make-up.
Upside Down is an artistic interpretation of the events in the book of Acts. From a first century prison cell, Luke, the gospel writer, tells the story of the people accused of “turning the world upside down!” Performed during the summer of 2016 to six audiences in St. Louis and broadcast to thousands of viewers worldwide.
Hands down, one of the best experiences I’ve ever had with a cast and production crew. I’ve been a fan of Steven Johnson’s and Sherwin Mackintosh’s work for 20 years. Getting the chance to work with them on something they wrote was a dream come true.
